Loose hair and cloth-

      

To position the headstock along the length of
the bed:

Note: The large hex nut under the headstock
may require occasional adjustment to ensure
proper clamping pressure to the bed. Turn
the hex nut in small increments to fine tune
the clamping pressure, as needed.

Damage to your eyes and lungs could result
from using this machine without proper pro-
tective gear. Always wear safety glasses and
a respirator when operating this machine.
If the lathe head unexpectedly moves during
operation, the tool and your hand could be
drawn into the spinning workpiece resulting
in personal injury. ALWAYS make sure the
head lock lever is tight and the head pivot
pin is seated before operation.
